LASIK, SMILE and PRK: what’s the difference?

A stay of several days may be sufficient for some LASIK or SMILE patients, while PRK patients may need a longer recovery period before travelling.

Your surgeon should confirm when it is safe for you to fly, return to work, exercise, swim or resume other activities. Even if vision feels good quickly, following the post-operative instructions carefully is important for healing.
